New or Revised User Fields:

Time Commitment |
Previously the programming allowed the user to select only one choice among the selections offered for "Time Commitment". It is now possible for the user to select among all the choices. The choices are not changed and remain

Citizenship |
Several ministries have requested a field to indicate US citizenship be added. This is now implemented. There are actually two fields — one for the primary person, and another for the spouse.
Unfortunately, this database field starts out empty for the first 1800 entries as of March 2002. We will attempt to alert users to go back and update their profiles.

Profile Dates |
A user record displays the date they first posted their record. (This is unchanged.)
A passive field is now added that also keeps track of when their record was last revised. This field is new as of March 2002 and will remain empty until a user makes any kind of modification to their record.
Both date fields will appear in the user record when you select it for display.

Super Search |
It is now possible to search all useful fields at once. For example, a search could be conducted for nurses that live in a selected state, willing to serve for 1 to 6 months.
(Previously it was only possible to search by "Ministry Preference" and then everything else separately.)

Download those in "Saved" storage list. |
Some ministries have requested the utility to download those names in the "Saved" area to avoid keying the addresses.
This utility has been added hesitantly. A high objective of the Finishers Project is to ease the connection from the pew to the plough in missions.
Note: We commit to users to use their information for the purpose of evaluating opportunities and options in missions.
It is an abuse of Finishers Project partnership privileges to use the names for the purpose of Fund Raising.
We agree to use these names by download, not for fund raising, but only for the purpose of recruiting. |

Order of Names |
Names appear in the New Listings, Saved and Non Active lists in order by percentage rating. This remains unchanged. Those with the same Rate now appear in alphabetical order by last name.
(Previously, the most recent appeared at the top of each rate category.) |
