Michele Nahra, MS is President and founder of Upward™. Upward's mission is to unlock, champion, and empower Upward Living® in individuals and organizations all over the world. In short, empowering significance, building for generations.
As a coach, Michele's passion is to see people realize their maximum potential in the Lord. Her unique gifting and personality allows her to draw out her clients God-given gifts and passions, help create a vision with realistic goals, and make decisions that reflect the client's values. Because so much of what hinders us is in our minds, Michele's ability to help identify limiting beliefs and replace them with the empowering truth enables clients to move forward with confidence. Based on biblical principles, Michele's coaching has empowered hundreds to live out their vision.
Michele received a BA in psychology from the University of Richmond and received a Master of Science in Rehabilitative Counseling from the Medical College of Virginia. In 1996, she became the Client Services Director at the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Richmond, Virginia. She then spent 4 years in campus ministry mentoring students at the University of Richmond before launching her company, Upward™, as a vision coach and trainer, speaker, and writer. Since then, Michele has spoken on stage with Zig Ziglar and other international motivators around the world.
Michele has led the Women's Ministry, Worship Teams, and Missions work at her home church, Harvest Renewal, in Richmond, Virginia. Her worldwide travels have provided invaluable learning experiences both with various cultures and affirming her belief in each person's unique gifting and destiny. Michele's personal mission is to radiate, inspire, and release passion for Jesus in all those around her.
