WHY IS MISSIONS IMPORTANT?

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." This quote from Peter leaves no wiggle room for another way to God. Acts 4:12
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me." Jesus, the author of the faith, could not make it more clear there is no other way. John 14:6
And the master said to the servant, "Go out to the highways and hedges, and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled." As to our part in as servants of the Most High, the assignment is clear in this parable of Jesus. Luke 14:23
... it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, ... It would be very dangerous to expect there is a second chance. Scripture just does not support the concept. Heb 9:27
The stone which the builders rejected, this became the very corner stone, and a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense. Conventionally referred to as the "offense of the cross." If there was another way, Jesus would not have gone to the cross. He would have told us use another way to Heaven. 1 Peter 2:8
